  • 1 Instructor (with possible assistant depending on the number of guests)

Price Per Participant

  • Alcohol Inks A very fluid material that produces semi-abstract paintings (works a bit like watercolor) on Yupo paper to create extremely vibrant colors.
  • Peace Out Animals Use oil pastels to draw a colorful animal wearing sunglasses, tie-dye shirt, or other funny accessories.  There is a technique with oil pastels that make them look quite like tie-dye!

Price Per Participant

  • Acrylic Painting Choose any theme or topic to receive guided instruction to complete a painting together. Although we are all following a theme, I always encourage individual choices and unique results with less pressure.
  • Gelli Printing Use printmaking techniques to make unique and colorful textured printed papers to then use for a collaged work of frameable art or a set of cards.  As a bonus, we will put together a necklace pendant using your favorite printed pattern.

  • Mosaics It's always fun to mix and match materials to create a design, pattern, or picture geared toward your favorite colors and textures made from tiles, beads, stones, and found materials.
  • Floral Arrangement Learn how to level up any grouping of flowers with thrillers, spillers, and fillers. Decorate your home with confidence after this hands-on experience.

Hi, I'm Amy.

I’m Amy Roadman, a PreK-12 Certified Art Teacher with 20+ years of experience and the owner of Igniting Creativity LLC.

I believe art and creativity can be taught, that you don’t have to start with innate talent, but instead, a desire to create and practice. By providing opportunities that really focus on the overall experience I have learned how to ease the pressure of art making and allow many people to tap into their creative side and find that it can be really rewarding to do so. 

That's why art parties are so much fun and successful for your whole group.  All projects are beginner friendly.  No experience necessary, just come with the desire to have make something together!
