Virtual Teaching: Building Your Business with Kristine Dizon
Kristine Dizon is the CEO, Founder, and Director of the Music and Language Learning Center. She is an international artist and teacher who has performed in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Kristine has been a part of several socio-cultural and educational projects that include the Philharmonie de Paris-Project DEMOS, Conservatoire de Montargis (Orchestre á l'école), and the Minnesota Project Opera. Kristine has been an Outschool teacher for so long that she actually interviewed with one of the original founders! In this episode, she gives you strategic advice on how to stop working 14-hour days and how to scale your business all while building relationships with parents and students. One of the key takeaways is that you don't have to do everything on your own but you do have to treat this way of teaching as a business. Success is a gradual process, and by analyzing data, building funnels, working with an account manager and VA, and being flexible while you find your niche through trial and error, you can build yourself a profitable business as well.
